Eugene Shivnan
Passion, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence define my journey from electrical contracting in New Zealand to real estate entrepreneurship in Bali. Early in my career, my love for sports and business took me across Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia, where I led sales and marketing teams in some of the world’s most iconic destinations. In 2005, I arrived in Bali as Marketing Director for Royal Karma Group and met my now-wife, Siti Purba—one of Karma’s top salespeople.
By 2009, I had returned to my real estate roots, drawing on my New Zealand license from Ray White. Soon after, Siti and I acquired an existing Exotiq Property Franchise in Jimbaran, which we successfully ran for years. In 2018, we decided to partner with Harcourts—a global brand originating from my home country—so we could expand our local impact while staying true to our Kiwi roots. Today, we operate two thriving Harcourts Purba Bali Real Estate offices in Berawa and on Lembongan Island. Through every challenge and every milestone, my focus remains the same: to bring world-class expertise, genuine communication, and the highest standards of service to this dynamic market I’m proud to call home.

Siti Salmah Purba, S.H. is the Principal at Harcourts Purba Bali and the first Indonesian sales consultant accepted to serve international clients in her field, recognized for her dedication, integrity, and professionalism. Originally from Sumatra, she moved to Bali in 1998 and built her career in sales and marketing with international holiday ownership companies in Bali, Thailand, India, and England.
Holding a Bachelor of Law, she is a certified real estate agent (LSP) and a member of the Indonesian Real Estate Brokers Association (AREBI). With extensive expertise in the Bali property market, her portfolio spans freehold villas, land, and commercial properties, particularly in high-demand areas such as Canggu, Bukit South, and Bukit West.
